As per the Fulton County District Office 8-21-08, the Math program is described as follows:
"The basal textbook will be used as the primary source of instruction. Daily classwork, homework and instruction will be based upon the use of the primary text and basal materials which include workbooks (ES, MS).  All other resources such as “Investigations,” "GA DOE tasks/frameworks," and “CMP2” will blend with the primary textbook and are to be used as supplements to support instruction in the classroom.  This will allow for the use of a more “traditional” math approach for the initial learning and the use of the “conceptual” approach for practice activities which will result in a blended curriculum. Instructional resources provided on SAMS will be reflective of this alignment."
